ACTIVITIES ON THE FARM

photoLa Ferme du Domaine gives its visitors the chance to discover the farming business and its environment. The Farm has many attractions and a wide variety of activities. In addition to accommodation and meals, it offers leisure activites on or nearby the Farm: 

1. Sporting activities

  • Horseback riding: initial training and courses given by a licensed trainer
  • Horseback rides (for experienced riders)
  • Hiking
  • Biking (mountain bikes)
  • Volleyball
  • Swimming in the lake 

2. Nature discovery

  • Discover the unique fauna and flora of the area
  • Observe deer and moose  in their natural habitat (when possible)
  • Visit the sugar shack and taste the maple products
  • Forest excursions (discovery trails)
  • Visit neighbouring farms and pick seasonal fruit (strawberries and raspberries when in season)
  • Learn more about the farming business (cultivation practices and caring for the animals in the farmyard and the stable).

Meet young people from the region.

  • Orientation courses (learning to use a compass)
  • Discovery of the unique flora and fauna of Quebec
